Course Description
Focus is on methods of web design, development and production including HTML, CSS, Javascript and other tools. Students will learn contemporary techniques for planning, building, promoting and testing a website. Studio. 6 contact hours.

Professor Description
Doug has worked in agencies and in-house teams in New Orleans and Providence for the past 14 years, designing and implementing paid, organic, social, and email campaigns that work together in concert to drive leads and sales.
Their experience in agencies and at brands is filtered through an ethical lens that focuses on inclusive creative, accessible implementation, brand-safe media strategy, and privacy-informed customer analytics. Their focus on ethical digital marketing informs their implementor's perspective to create websites that effectively communicate to everyone in their clients' audiences of interest.
Doug brings this human-centered design methodology to the class, using it as the backbone for learning objectives.
