What will I get out of this class?

This class will give you an introduction to the world of website design and development. You’ll learn human-centered design principles, prototyping methods and practices, and coding in HTML and CSS. This will help you broaden your digital media and graphic design skills, while giving you a broader portfolio. Finally, the final project is a group project that mimics a professional collaborative environment.

This class is designed for being after Graphic Design II. After this class, you’ll have knowledge that will help give context to all your design courses, like taking an audience-first perspective for any design project, applying fluid typography strategies to layouts, and thinking of how to design physical interactions.
